Getting BIG
Eli just figured out how to go from a crawling position to a sitting position today!
He is so adorable, and getting so BIG! He is days away from crawling, and I am not ready for it. :( What happened to my baby?

Number Two
Tooth number two popped through last night for out Mister Eli!
This was a tough one, he was not happy last night. Or was it the frosting Pa kept sneaking him? :)
#2 is right next to the first. Bottom, front, right side. :)

My Big 4 Month Old!
Eli is now 4 months old! :)
He had his check up on Thursday, and passed with flying colors!
He weighs in at 16 lbs 5 oz, and is 26 inches long. We didn't have any concerns, and neither did Dr. S!
We go back in 2 months, but we have his 4 month immunizations in a few weeks, poor baby. :( He did well with the last set, but you just never know.
I have yet to take his 4 month pictures. Mom fail! But hopefully I can get them done this afternoon!

He Did It!
Today, my precious little baby boy (Eli) rolled over for the first time!
Hubs and I were cleaning up the living room, and he was on his activity mat....and the next thing we knew he was on his belly. :)
I, unfortunately, haven't caught him in action.....but I will try to this week!
Here is my sweet little guy right after he rolled to his belly for the first time! :)

Usually, Eli is swaddled for his long afternoon nap and at night, but today he feel asleep without it!
He also rolled to his side right before falling asleep. So sweet!

37 Weeks
This afternoon I had yet another baby appointment. :)
I am down 12 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight. My blood pressure is 108/60. Eli's heartbeat is 160, and active! :) I was checked again, and this week I am 3 cm and still 50%. Moving in the right direction, but lets hurry this along. :)
12 days or less until I get to meet my little guy. I am hoping less!

Business Trip
We spent the day in DeWitt, picking up my little brother, (who, by the way, is not so little any more! He starts his senior year next week, I can not believe it!!!!) who has been "hired" to baby sit me.
About 2 weeks ago, I got a phone call from Zach telling me that his boss wanted to set up a "sales conference" in August. Well, that doesn't work out too well with baby Eli's due date. :) But, regardless Zach and I agreed he would make the 48 hour trip up to Minnesota....while I stay home and cross my legs. Lol.
He leaves tomorrow morning, and I have every intention of doing nothing for fear of going into labor and him missing the birth of our third child.
I am crossing my legs, perhaps you could cross your fingers. :)

Why Eli Hasn't Arrived?
Yes, I know...it isn't quite my due date. In fact, I still have about 3 weeks to go until Eli is projected to make his arrival.
But, I am DYING to meet him, hold him, love on him, just everything. I can't wait to have a newborn again. :)
Well, I have finally figured out why he hasn't arrived....I have yet to finish crocheting his baby blanket.
I guess I better get my butt in gear!

Getting Ready
I had my 36 week OB appointment this afternoon, and everything looks great!
Still down 10 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight. My blood pressure was 120/80 (which is slightly higher than my usual).
Dr. S had a heck of a time getting a read on baby Eli's heart beat. We could hear it, but he moved around CONSTANTLY so we couldn't quite get a number. Oh well, at least we know he is alive and well in there.
We also did my strep B test, and she checked me for dilation. I am 2 cm and 50%. So, we are definitely getting closer!
My next appointment is scheduled for next Wednesday! I can't wait to see how things are progressing.
After my appointment I ran to Target to purchase a new boppy pillow (the one we got when Jack was little was destroyed in the dryer when Ady was around a year old), and big brother/sister gifts for my babies. :)
Then I came home and purchased the god-parent gifts for Eli's god-parents (Tyson and Abby), paid bills, balanced the checkbook, and then took the rest of the night to rest. :)
It is amazing how even the simplest tasks become difficult when you are in the final month of your pregnancy. Geez, just getting up to head to the bathroom is quite the event.

Genius or CRAZY?!?
Okay, so I have to ask....am I a genius or a crazy person for organizing my kids clothing, for when I am in the hospital, into labeled ziploc bags. Each day has a labeled bag with the day's clothes.
Genius or crazy?

Carpal Tunnel
This morning I woke up with a lot of pain in my hands/fingers...my right hand is worse than my left, but both hurt nonetheless.
At first I thought I just slept on it wrong...but it never went away. I used a heating pad to try to reduce the pain, but that only worked for a short time. Then, I tried ice...which was not a good idea.
After dealing with the pain for about 5 hours I made a call to my OB. She told me that it is likely carpal tunnel and to wear a brace as much as I could stand it until the pain went away, and then at night after that.
So, off I went to buy a brace. I am still in pain (about 16 hours later), but the brace does seem to be helping. It is hindering my ability to be productive, for example writing his blog post is taking about 4x as long as it usually would. Annoying. :(
About all I can do is pin on Pinterest, which I have to admit isn't a bad way to spend the evening. :)
I am hoping I feel better in the morning! I hope y'all have a good evening.

Definite Arrival Date
I had my OB appointment yesterday!
Everything looks great with Mommy and baby.
I came into the appointment with a list of reasons (excuses, really) to by induced on 8/17 (because I am a freak and want my kids birthdays to "line up". Jack 11/15, Ady 11/16, and Eli 8/17.). Turns out I didn't need my list, because she didn't even need to hear my plea. She simply said she is not allowed to induce more than a week before the due date, but would gladly induce me on 8/20. OKAY BY ME! :)
So, it isn't 8/17...but 8/20 is sounding a lot better than 8/27 at this point. We are getting closer!

Baby Eli Update
Today marks my last 4 week appointment, we are down to every 2 weeks. Yikes, that means it is getting close! :)
I gained some weight over the last 4 weeks, but am still down 11 pounds. My blood pressure was 110/68 (which is slightly high for me, but neither the nurse or doctor seemed concerned).
Eli's heartbeat was in the 160s, which is also higher than usual.
I asked Dr. S about this "clicking" noise I hear when the baby makes a big movement. She wasn't concerned at all, but said that it was simply my ligaments stretching because of the baby's movement.
Next, I tried to convince her to induce me on 8/17 (I am due 8/27)....but, she said that she ethically can not induce more than a week before the woman's due date. So, I am set to be induced on 8/20. That is, if Eli hasn't already make his grand entrance.
But, that isn't to say I am not going to try my darnest to have this baby on 8/17 (Jack was born on the 15th, Ady the 16th, so naturally my type A personality wants Eli to be born on the 17th.). :) I already told Z that we will be eating spicy food on the 16th. Lol.

32 Weeks
Everything is moving along quite nicely with baby Eli! :)
My blood pressure is usually 100/60, and baby's heart beat is in the mid-140s.
At this point I am still down 14 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight, but I am sure that will get quite a bit smaller over the next several weeks.
We are so ready for our new little guys arrival! Do you have any guesses as to when he will arrive?
Here are some pictures of what we have been up to, regarding Eli anyway. :)

Baby E is a.....
Baby E is a BOY!!!!!
His name will be Elliott Jon, and we are beyond excited!
He is REALLY active, and the ultrasound techs (yes, I said techS) had a very difficult time capturing the images they needed to do measurements. It took us 1.5 hours to do the ultrasound, thankfully my other little monsters behaved themselves. :)
We are measuring right at 21 weeks (which matches my due date), his heartbeat is 156 BPM, and he is adorable!
And here he is:
Like I said, Elliott is a mover! He was always "face down", so we never got a really good view of his little profile. Maybe we will have another ultrasound before little mister is born!
Can't wait to meet you baby boy! Only 19 more weeks.
