What's Going On In My Head

Oh.my.goodness.  My eye sight is getting bad!  I have to magnify EVERYTHING in order to read it.  Remind me that I need to make an appointment for the eye doctor.  Thanks!  :)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We have a fun and relaxing weekend planned, and I am so excited.  Saturday (around noon) we will be heading to Peoria, IL for a little hotel stay at our favorite hotel.  :)  Swimming, pizza, a few drinks = relaxation!  All of us can't wait!

We are also excited to be able to spend some extra time with The Teenager and my sister, Lauren.  Lauren is attending school near Peoria, and LOVES when we come to visit.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On Monday, I am scheduled to have a colonoscopy.  Without getting into too much detail (because who really wants to know, lol), I have been having painful bowel movements since giving birth to Ady.  My primary care physician thinks it is hemorrhoids, but wants a colonoscopy to be sure with my family history of chron's disease and other autoimmune diseases.  I am sure I will know more by the end of next week (and maybe even Monday....but, I am not sure how much detail the doctor will get into right then and there), and I will be sure to let all of you know.

I know this is a pretty standard procedure, but I am still not looking forward to it.  I am too young to be falling apart, lol.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And just in case you needed an Ady fix before the week, here she is!

She went into our bedroom with me this afternoon and spotted Daddy's hat....and she just had to have it!  I am happy to report that 2 hours later, she is still wearing it.  :)  What a little cowgirl.

Have a fabulous weekend!

And You Thought My Last Was Random....

Ahh, I am itching!  We got the okay this afternoon to paint our apartment....provided we put it back to white before we move out.  I am SO excited.  I am SICK of boring white walls, and I can not wait to add a little spice to our lives walls.  As I am typing this I am calling my Mom to see if she would be available to watch the kiddos for us, but....she didn't answer.  DARN HER!  Lol.  Eh, she probably didn't turn her phone off vibrate after she got off work.

Hubs is attending a conceal carry class on Saturday.  I have no idea why because he doesn't even own a gun.  I think he just likes to know that he can.  Who knows.  Guys are crazy.  Even if he never ends up using the information shared in the class, he should have a good time hanging out with the guys.  His dad, my dad, and a few other men are going.....it is good for him to get out with other men and spend a Saturday morning learning about guns and gun safety.

I got a new phone today.  My 5th replacement phone since I got my new one in December.  Yes, I know....ridiculous.  But, I am hopeful that this will be my last replacement phone!  I don't want to have to transfer contacts/add e-mail accounts again until I renew my contract.

We are planning on having our family/individual pictures taken the first weekend in October, and I have been busy planning our outfits.  Which is fun, but man....why does it look better if people match?  It would be so much easier to just throw on something that looks nice and snap away.  Well, I am sure you can do that....and look perfectly fine.  But, that is not how my mind works.  I want people to match, well....not match but coordinate.  Yeah, I might be a little crazy.  So, I have a couple of items waiting in my "shopping bag" at OldNavy.com, and I can't wait till Friday when I can order them.  :)

Okay, I don't watch Days of Our Lives often...but, I have been trying to get caught up this last week.  Didn't Sammy just ALMOST marry EJ, and now she is in bed with Raf?  WTF?

We are planning on heading to the zoo Monday afternoon.  It is Z's day off, and we haven't been yet this year.  We took Jackers last year, and he LOVED it.  I can't wait to show our Ady, and see what interests Jack this year.  (You can see our zoo trip from last year, here.)

Man, they are growing up too fast.

Anyway, sorry about this all over the place post....but, it is what is on my mind.

Oh, and don't forget to enter my giveaway!  Seriously, don't forget.  :)

Decisions, Decisions, Decisions....

Has anyone heard of Le Creuset Cookware, do you like it?

You see, I have been looking to purchase more pots and pans for my kitchen, and now I can't decide what to get.....

They are just too perfect, however I want to make sure that they will last me a while.  Like forever, lol!

I am looking for a durable, yet attractive set....and I think that I have found it with these Le Creuset pots and pans.  What do you think?

I found these perfect Le Creuset items at CSN Stores (haven't checked them out yet, shame on you!!!)

Anyway, so any help y'all have would be greatly appreciated!  ;o)

May Weekend

First of all, I shouldn't have waited so long to blog.  I have so much to say.  This might be a LONG post.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We had a fantastic weekend.  It was a little busy, but overall a lot of fun.

Friday we went to the mall and got Ms. Ady's ears pierced.  She did wonderfully.   No tears!

While we where at the mall Jackers had his first soft pretzel, and he is in love.  :)

Of course, while we were there I couldn't resist a little shopping.  How can you not shop while at a mall?!?!

After how couple hour trip through the mall, we went to TGI Friday's to see our favorite waitress Brittanie.  It was a blast.

However, we forgot our leftovers in the car.  We were seriously disappointed.  :(

After dinner we picked up the Teenager for a little sleepover.  He just likes to come over and eat our food.

Okay....so on to Saturday.  Zachy had to work, unfortunately.  But, the Teenager and I had a blast with the kiddos....and watching the history channel.  :)

Then in the evening I ran to go grocery shopping, before coming home to enjoy the evening.

Sunday was a pretty chill day for us.  We spent some time outside, loving the warmish weather.  And, of course, we did laundry.  Because that is what we do every. single. Sunday.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And that brings us to today, where we took the kiddos in for their wellness check up.

Both are as healthy as can be!

Ady weighs 17lbs, and Jack is 30lbs.

I found it funny that both of my kids are exactly the weight.  No .2 or .3...just 17.0 lbs.

I find the funniest things entertaining.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Do you celebrate half birthdays?  I do, I know I am weird.

But, both of my kiddos celebrated half birthdays over the weekend. Jack is 1.5 years old and Ady is .5 years old.  :)

We got Jackers a basketball hoop.  Which he loves!  (Ady got her ears pierced, in case you were wondering what we got her)

Especially when Uncle Timmy shoots hoops with him.

Z and the Teenager played "knee ball" while Jack was giggling away.  Watching them get rug burn.  He was probably thinking, "when will they ever learn?".

I will post some pics and videos of the basketball hoop soon.  I used a different camera, and need to find the cord.  :)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That's all for now.  Hope you enjoy reading about my super exciting life!
