ABCs

Jackers and I have been really practicing his letters over the last week, and he has been doing pretty good.  I am very impressed, especially because he was hardly talking a month ago.  :)

So, the other day I recorded his ABCs, and I got the clip you are about to see.  However, I realized (while watching it back) that I totally forget the letter K.  Yep, I am a bad Mom.  I forget the letter K, I went right from J to L.  Terrible, I know.  I feel awful, but I promise I have been making sure to include ALL the letters when we practice since this clip.  :)  Hopefully I didn't damage him too much.




Isn't he sweet?  Anyway, last week my two turned 21 and 9 months and I just can't believe it.  Their birthdays are right around the corner, and I still have no idea what I am going to do....which is so not like me.  I started planning Jackson's birthday almost 8 MONTHS before.  Nuts, I know.

Last Saturday I started looking for winter coats for the kids, but they don't have them in the stores yet.  Man, these people must not be planners like me.  I am getting nervous that I don't have them (yes, I know it is August).  Lol.  I need a large pill of RELAX!

Exploding Vocabulary

My Jackers is a man of few words...well, until the last couple of days that is.

His vocabulary is EXPLODING!. About a week ago he could only say: dad, go, yeah...and that's about it.

But, now....he can say:

dog
kitty cat (cat itty)
grandpa (and pa)
Makenna (k na)
dad
yeah
go
sissy (issy)
ball
cracker (ca kak er)
cow (k ah oow)

And, that's all I can think of for now.

Still waiting on Mama. Maybe he is holding out for Mother's Day?

A Mama can only hope!

His comprehension is fabulous. He almost always knows what I am talking about. :) Which makes life so much easier.

Now, if only I had a cure for the whining. And the little temper tantrums, where he is kicking a screaming on the floor.

He is a perfect angel in public, but once you get him in his own environment WATCH OUT! :)
