Tim's Surgery

Tim's surgery went really well. He was in there all of 11 minutes, haha. I also heard that he is on some pretty good drugs! I don't know a whole lot of details, just that he is doing great and they are on their way home.

Poor Timmy

We just found out that Timothy has to have surgery tomorrow ;( Poor kid. This Crohn's Disease has been acting up, and hopefully this surgery will help fix the problem. I will post a new blog tomorrow to let y'all know how it goes. He would appreciate your prayers!

Oh Poor Baby

Poor baby isn't feeling very well today. He wouldn't eat his cereal last night and he would cry all day today if I wasn't holding him. I called the doctor, and they told me to bring him in just in case it was an ear infection. So....we bundled up and headed to the doctor's office only to find out there is nothing seriously wrong with the poor boy. He just has a slight cold, but the doctor said that it is nothing to worry about. I hope he feels better soon! I miss my happy little boy.

Crazy Mama

So, I will be the first one to admit that I am a crazy worrier....especially when it comes to Jackson. Sunday we went to Medical Associates in Clinton (sat there for 3 hours) because I was concerned with a cough Jack was developing. He had a low-grade fever last Tuesday, and about Friday he started coughing. I know several infants who have developed RSV in the last month, so I looked on-line for symptoms. The symptoms listed were some of the things Jack has been dealing with, so I thought "better safe than sorry". Thank goodness he is healthy, just a low white count. We did have a little surprise while at the doctor. Little man weighs 16 lbs 12 oz. I can not believe how big he is. So, today I decided to upgrade his carseat. Hopefully he likes it!

Emergency Room

We spent the first part of Christmas Eve day in the emergency room :(. I was having some serious back pain, and nothing was working to relieve the pain. I had not slept most of the night, and I was constantly moving around trying to find some position that was comfortable. So, Zach took me to the emergency room around 6 am. The doctor gave me a anti-inflammatory pain medication in the form of a shot, which at least helped me to sleep. We will have to wait and see how the pain is later in the day. I have to sing a solo at church tonight, so wish me luck!

VNA Visit

This afternoon Jackson and I received a visit from the VNA (visiting nurses). They came to answer any questions that I had, and to do a quick check up of Jackson. Everything looked good with Jackson, and I just had a few breast feeding questions....but, I think that we got everything worked out. She was a lot of fun and a wealth of information! Tracy is stopping by again next week to check out my little pickle (I just randomly started call him this, not sure why?!?!?), specifically looking at his weight.
