I have come to realize that I don't do very well with the whole diet/exercise thing on the weekends. I would rather be completely lazy. Being lazy includes eating pre-packaged foods (oh the horror!) and sitting on my a**, rather than working out.
I will say that I am pretty impressed with myself, because I have been working out at least 3 days a week since the beginning of the year. That is so much more than I can say for last year.
So, for days 12 and 13: I didn't drink enough water. I didn't exercise, and I didn't watch what I ate. There is always Monday.
Do you exercise on the weekends? What is your motivation for working out?
I do NOT like interruptions when I work out. You know, like pausing the DVD player 5 times before the warm up section is even over? That's what happens if I try to work out on the weekends. I just start fresh every Monday and not worry about what I did/didn't do on the weekend :)
ReplyDeleteI swim on Sunday mornings. Par has the baby, I get 45 blissful laps all to myself, followed by a soak in the hottub. The rest of the week, if I want to exercise, I have to get up before the baby, tiptoe around the house and then sneak out before he can hear me. Then I have to race through my workout and get back in time to give him breakfast. Sunday mornings, I can relax, take my time. I loooove my Sunday morning gym time.
