Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day Everyone! We had such a great day, although I am a little tired because I didn't have much help from Daddy ;o) Which is totally fine, because it is his day!

Anyway....this was Zach's first official Father's Day and Jackers and I were really excited to make sure that it was a good one. Jack and I woke up at 7:30 am and started making breakfast for him. All his favorites: bacon egg and cheese bagel, pancakes, blueberry muffins, cinnamon rolls, bananas, milk and juice. It was our goal to have breakfast in bed, but it is a little difficult to eat breakfast in a bed, with a 7 month old...haha....so we moved into the living room and let baby Jackers roll around on the floor while we enjoyed our breakfast.

After our huge breakfast we had a little nap together as a family, and then we hung out at the house until it was time to go over to Grandma and Grandpa's. They made some EXCELLENT steak and potatoes! It was great to be able to get together with them, Lauren even came into town ;o)

After dinner we exchanged cards, and had cake and strawberries. Yummy yummy! Right before the thunderstorm rolled into town Jackers and I sat outside with Grandpa and enjoyed a cigar and the cooler temperatures. (*Disclaimer* Jack and I sat upwind from the cigar smoke, no worries)

Overall it was an absolutely perfect day! Can't wait for Mother's Day....haha ;o)

These are some of the cutest pictures I have of Daddy and Jack over the last seven months. How adorable are they!

  1. Looks like a great day! Isn't Mother's Day in May in the States? I thought it was the same day as us.
