Today, well...the only thing I did good was exercise. But, even that was interrupted when my Mom randomly stopped by in the afternoon. I am afraid that the rest of the weekend will be challenging too, we are going to be crazy busy.
When does life slow down? When the kids move out??? Nope, probably not. Then you are traveling all over the country visiting them ;o).
How are you doing on this weight loss journey? Am I the only one who struggles on a daily basis to complete my goals???????
Thanks for all your support blog friends ;o).
I'm not exercising for weight loss (I've spent too many years trying to GAIN to a healthy weight) but I am doing my pilates to tone up and get some cardio in. And yes, its really hard to stay motivated and find the time to fit it in.
ReplyDeleteJennifer, once you ask you will get so much advice! I will share these words with you-don't approach it as a process of losing the weight, but truly believe it's a process of making room for the wonderful things you want to bring in your life. You already know there is no magic formula to shed the pounds. Start from a place where you believe you are perfect as you are and the weight loss will take care of its own.

Hi Jenn! I understand about the weight and exercise thing. I go to Curves 3-5 days per week. My downfall is my eating. I have a hubby that likes Fried Pork Chops, Fried potatoes, cream gravy, and so on. I am the type of person who is NOT going to go to the trouble to fix 2 different meals, so I eat what I fix for him, only my portion is small. I have always heard not to use scales, to go by clothing size. I have lost quite a few inches, but I still fluctuate between 170-178 pounds, yet my clothes fit better. Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE to lose about 50 pounds, but as long as the inches are coming off, I'm happy. I've never been a "salad person, and I love Mexican food. So I doubt if I will EVER see 130-135 again. That being said a lot of it is age and lack of hormones as I am 56 years old.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to Facebook. I guarantee your friends will definitely pick up if you Network your blog. Mine did. My thing is followers for my blog. I would like to see them go hand in hand, but the type of blog I have sort of limits things, but I have to remain true to myself and why I wanted to do my blog in the first place, and that is to get GOD'S WORD out. I have no children, and the only work I do is cleaning a couple of houses, So outside of traveling a little bit. my passion is my relationship with God, and making sure I do my part to spreading His word.
Hope you will stop by and chat when you get a chance.
Love & Prayers,
PJ
