Let Your Opinions Be Heard

When you think of Christmas dinner, what foods come to mind?

Please help me out! I am hosting Christmas this year, and want it to be a year to remember....and I figured the best way to people's "memory" is through their stomach. :)

If you could, include recipe links. :) Thanks friends!

  1. I made chicken madera for Xmas last year and everyone loved it in Denver. You tenderize chicken breasts and pan sear them just until barely cooked. Set aside and made Madera sauce (I can send you recipe if you want) blanch asparagus spears and set aside, in pan put chicken breasts and crisscross asparagus across each one and stop with a slice of swiss cheese and broil until golden. It's so delicious.

  3. My family always celebrates on Christmas Eve. My mom makes chili and oyster soup. It's so simple, but that is kind of the idea. It is stress free, so you can concentrate more on spending time with family, rather than spending time panicking over food preperation!
