Help

I am considering a no spend month for January. Thoughts?

Hubs could go either way....

  1. you are encouraging me to try this. I need to go back and read how you did it exactly. I guess I could prepay for some things like boyscout camp outs.

    1. Basically, for the month before I spend my grocery budget more wisely...choosing to stock up on items I know we will need next month. The NSM is to limit/eliminate unexpected or extra spending...like eating out or a candy stop after an outing. If it is a planned expense, you can add those funds to your "spending goal" for the month. Let's say you spend $300/week on your variable expenses...maybe try cutting it down to $100 for a month. Once you have done your 1st NSM, you can lower this even further if you can. Good luck! And let me know if you try it. :)
