July Road Trip

We explored far too much of Iowa today.  I am exhausted.

We started out our road trip headed to a town about an hour and a half away.  That was great.  We really liked the town, and the house is perfect.

We played at a local park (that could use some work), ate a picnic lunch (it is a no spend month remember?), and got back on the road with only one catastrophe.  Hehe.

We left town, and headed to yet another option on our list for possible "hometowns".  It didn't really pass the test.  We LOVE the 2nd house we saw, but are not thrilled about the location.

We decided it was time to head home.....but, the babies fell asleep.  So, we decided to make yet another trip.  Probably not the best idea looking back on it, but I was glad to get all of our "town hunting" out of the way.

This final town was probably my favorite, as far as the town was concerned.  The house, however, left a lot to be desired.  The houses are really close together, and there is not much of a back yard.  :(

So nearly 300 miles later, we have decided what house we want.....the location.....now, we just have to see if everything else works out.  :)  We still have a long ways to go, but we might be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
